Because how fun is that?!
I finally got my kiln settings tweaked for bisque firing, and am having a blast (see what I did there?) with Mayco Jungle Gems glazes. They have exploding crystals that spew color all over - you know, in the kiln, not on you. I love the watercolor/tie-dye effect.
I‘ve been doing test pieces to see what they actually come out as, so yes, I have a random headless dove. (Are you really surprised, though?)
Now I can’t wait to try them out on larger pieces - teapots, mugs, plates, my car….
